This Indigo has deep blue-green leaves and contrasting dark powdery gray stems with bright white blooms. White Wild Indigo serves as a vital food source for beneficial insects. Pollinators love the rich pollen and nectar this plant offers. Hardy and resilient, this plant tolerates drought and thrives in poor soils, thanks to its extensive root system. Once established, it’s best not to disturb it. Enjoy the everlasting beauty it brings to both your garden and to floral arrangements. Caution should be exercised as parts of the plant are considered toxic (contains baptisin and cytisine).
