Potted Plants

Downy Wood Mint has distinctive hairy stems and flowers accompanied by reddish spots, reminiscent of Monardas. This easy-going perennial is mildly fragrant and is resilient and adaptable, thriving in various conditions. Put in an area with good air circulation to prevent powdery mildew. You can still enjoy the small basal leaves and shoots in the winter as they remain green even with the cold temps.

Size options:

-50 cell tray (each cell is 5” deep x 2.25” wide)

-Pot (each pot is 2.5” x 3.5”)

Amazed by the Quality of the Plants!

Initially, based on the plant photos provided with the listings, I was concerned the plants would be very small, but the pricing was excellent and 3B Natives was offering species that weren't still available through other suppliers, so I double ordered to ensure that I'd have a high enough survival rate in my garden installations. I was amazed by the quality of the plants—mature, robust and healthy! Several weeks later, 100% of the plants have survived and thrived in their new homes. Shipping was also incredibly fast. I placed another larger order and was equally happy with the quality of the second shipment. 3B Natives will now be my first-choice nursery (for plants I'm not able to source through my local nonprofit growers.) Thank you so much for your great work!
