Brown Fox Sedge is an easy-to-grow sedge that boasts salt tolerance, making it a resilient choice for various landscapes. Watch it flourish, but be mindful—without competition, it can be a little aggressive and try to take over areas. It’s also a valuable food source for birds, including ducks, as well as being a favorite of Sedge Grasshoppers and other insects. Carex vulpinoidia is a dynamic plant that actively grows during cool seasons, adding both resilience and ecological appeal to your outdoor space.

PLANTS MAY BE TRIMMED UPON ARRIVAL. We keep live plants trimmed for the health of the plant, and they may be cut before shipping. This does not harm the plant and actually makes it stronger and ready to grow for you when you receive it.

SHIPPING INFO:
We begin shipping live plants at the end of April and the first week of May depending on where you are located (weather permitting). Bulbs start shipping late July.
We ship live plants on Monday-Wednesday. Live plant orders ship in 1-2 business days unless ordered after cutoff time (7:00 AM on Wednesday) for the week, then it could take up to 3 business days. Orders received by 7:00 AM on Wednesday will ship the following Monday or Tuesday to make sure your plants aren't in transit longer than they should be. Delivery for all orders from carrier takes about 1-5 days. We ship all other products Monday-Friday.
