Eryngium yuccifolium is in the Carrot Family and has historical significance as Native Americans believed its root treated rattlesnake bites. It thrives in various conditions and is salt tolerant, so it’s a great choice for areas where salt is thrown in the winter. Produces white spikey flowers that turn brown when they go to seed.
