Rattlesnake Master is a captivating perennial with lots of appeal. Serves as a host plant for the Black Swallowtail butterfly and draws in a bustling crowd of bees, moths, and flies. Eryngium yuccifolium is in the Carrot Family and has historical significance as Native Americans believed its root treated rattlesnake bites. It thrives in various conditions and is salt tolerant, so it’s a great choice for areas where salt is thrown in the winter. Produces white spikey flowers that turn brown when they go to seed.

PLANTS MAY BE TRIMMED UPON ARRIVAL. We keep live plants trimmed for the health of the plant, and they may be cut before shipping. This does not harm the plant and actually makes it stronger and ready to grow for you when you receive it.

SHIPPING INFO:
We begin shipping live plants at the end of April and the first week of May depending on where you are located (weather permitting). Bulbs start shipping late July.
We ship live plants & bulbs on Monday-Wednesday in the Spring and Monday-Tuesday in Summer/Fall. Live plant orders ship in 1-2 business days unless ordered after cutoff time (7:00 AM on Wednesday {Spring} & Tuesday {Summer/Fall}) for the week, then it could take up to 3-4 business days. Orders received after cutoff will ship the following Monday or Tuesday to make sure your plants aren't in transit longer than they should be. Delivery for all orders from carrier takes about 1-5 days (depending on location). We ship all other products Monday-Friday.
