Lespedeza virginica - Slender Bush Clover

Slender Bush Clover has tall stalks with vibrant pink/purple flowers featuring a darker-hued middle. The stems are also covered in delicate white fuzzy hairs. Thrives in rocky soils and showcases impressive drought tolerance. A favorite among pollinators, this plant attracts bees and other beneficial insects. Birds also eat up the seeds when the flowers turn. Deer and rabbits like to eat the leaves.
