Meadow Blazing Star is cherished as one of the top Monarch favorites, while also attracting bees, hummingbirds, and more. Thriving in sunny locations, it grows tall and may benefit from staking to maintain its elegant stature. If it's not exposed to sun on all sides or enough sun period it can grow in an irregular distorted shape. Liatris ligulistylis’ seeds are loved and eaten by tons of birds, especially finches. This is a great choice to attract a wide range of pollinators.

PLANTS MAY BE TRIMMED UPON ARRIVAL. We keep live plants trimmed for the health of the plant, and they may be cut before shipping. This does not harm the plant and actually makes it stronger and ready to grow for you when you receive it.

SHIPPING INFO:
We begin shipping live plants at the end of April and the first week of May depending on where you are located (weather permitting). Bulbs start shipping late July.
We ship live plants on Monday-Wednesday. Live plant orders ship in 1-2 business days unless ordered after cutoff time (7:00 AM on Wednesday) for the week, then it could take up to 3 business days. Orders received by 7:00 AM on Wednesday will ship the following Monday or Tuesday to make sure your plants aren't in transit longer than they should be. Delivery for all orders from carrier takes about 1-5 days. We ship all other products Monday-Friday.
