Aquilegia canadensis - Columbine
Aquilegia canadensis - Columbine
Introducing Columbine: a springtime delight for both gardeners and pollinators. As one of the first plants to bloom, it is a prime choice for early pollinator activity. It has a long taproot which helps with drought tolerance, ensuring resilience even in dry conditions. It is also salt tolerant which makes it perfect for the edges of driveways and parking lots where salt is thrown down in the winter. Its highly fragrant blooms make it a hummingbird favorite.

Searched everywhere for Giant purple hyssop and couldn't find it. Someone told me about 3B and I had my plants in just a few days! Very happy and will definitely use them again.
My daughter bought me these Aquilegia canadensis - Columbine last year and they are so big right now. They came back after the winter so big and strong. They are getting ready to flower any day now. I'm so excited to see them. I highly recommend buying your native plants from 3 B's. The owner and her team are so nice and knowledgeable. If I need more native plants, I will definitely be buying more from them.
