Tall Green Milkweed displays clusters of delicate white-green flowers, each plant boasts around 100 blossoms, forming a breathtaking spectacle. With slender leaves setting it apart from other milkweed, Asclepias hirtella stands shorter, but no less magnificent. The addition of this plant will add many bees and butterflies to the garden. At the end of the growing season, large pods with white-tan silky seeds inside appear and burst open for the seeds to be carried off by the wind.

PLANTS MAY BE TRIMMED UPON ARRIVAL. We keep live plants trimmed for the health of the plant, and they may be cut before shipping. This does not harm the plant and actually makes it stronger and ready to grow for you when you receive it.

SHIPPING INFO:
We begin shipping live plants at the end of April and the first week of May depending on where you are located (weather permitting). Bulbs start shipping late July.
We ship live plants on Monday-Wednesday. Live plant orders ship in 1-2 business days unless ordered after cutoff time (7:00 AM on Wednesday) for the week, then it could take up to 3 business days. Orders received by 7:00 AM on Wednesday will ship the following Monday or Tuesday to make sure your plants aren't in transit longer than they should be. Delivery for all orders from carrier takes about 1-5 days. We ship all other products Monday-Friday.
