Mistflower has small, frilly, round blue flowers and thrives in moisture while also having some drought tolerance. It's one of the very few flowers still blooming later in the season to provide nectar to pollinators. This plant spreads through rhizomes under the ground, and also via seeds. Deadheading the spent flowers prevents seed dispersal. Conoclinium coelestinum is a favorite among butterflies and also deer!
