Oligoneuron rigidum - Stiff Goldenrod

Stiff Goldenrod is a striking perennial that forms large clusters of bright yellow flowers. Its leaves turn a nice deep shade of red in the fall. A prolific self-seeder, this goldenrod offers a bountiful display. Remove seed heads before seeds drop to prevent unwanted plants. Beyond its visual appeal, Stiff Goldenrod becomes a haven for wildlife, providing shelter and food far into fall, with winter birds particularly drawn to its seeds. Oligoneuron rigidum is also salt tolerant so it's great for areas where the salt content is higher in the soil.
